An Encounter (2001) was written sometimes as a dialogue from a Terry Pratchett novel and sometimes as a Monty Python routine. When I was writing the dialogue the climber clearly had the voice of John Cleese and the old man was based mainly on Terry Jones's hermit character in 'Life Of Brian'.

'An Encounter' is my first attempt at a short story. The coloring is all computer made, using Adobe Photoshop. It was seen briefly as part of an art exhibition during 'ICon 2001' sci-fi convention in the Tel-Aviv Cinemateque. The convention's theme that specific year was gods and divinity.
