Kingsmeat (2003) was created for a sequential arts exhibition at the 7th ICon sci-fi and fantasy festival in Tel Aviv. Orson Scott Card, author of classics like Ender's Game and the Alvin Maker saga was the guest of honor at the festival, and since adapting written fiction into sequential art was a challenge I long wanted to give a shot, I found an interesting short story by Card in his short works collection Maps In A Mirror, and did my best doing it justice. I had to change some of the more gruesome bits which work well on paper but would be too disgustingly gory when visualized... Special thanks to Mr. Card, one of my favorite authors and a really cool guy.
