These eleven ceramic sculptures of shoes were part of the collection exhibited in the shop “Eight Together” in Nachalat Shiv’a, Jerusalem between the 1st and 24th of December 2003. Two of them (I don’t know which) were sold and the other nine were stolen.

These nine sculptures, valued at $60 each, were stolen during the short period I exhibited in the shop. The sculptures are not insured.

This act of criminal hooliganism was probably by a single, frightening and hurtful person.

A thief lusted after my work and shoplifted one shoe, then another, and again until nine of my special favorites were taken.

If I had not taken them off the shelves on December 24th thee kleptomaniac fetishist pervert probably would have continued with his sick program, May I add, with some skill.

I turn to you, dear site visitors.

If you have seen any of these lost sculptures, whether in someone’s home or in a shop, please contact me by phone 065-515995 or e-mail me at rachel@avikatz.com
